Discover the Cultural Connection

Passport 2 Adventure is an educational travel program designed for youth to discover the cultural connections between Africa and the African Diaspora.

The program consist of two (2) components: (1) classroom instruction of the visiting country; and (2) a study tour that will include travel to countries in Africa, the Caribbean, Central and South America, and Europe.

Students will be responsible for a portion of the program's expenses, but they will be assisted with fundraising activities.

After completion of the program students will then qualify to participate in the study tour.

The study tour will take place during the summer where students will volunteer on community projects, develop peer to peer relationships, conduct research and create a documentary of their journey and experiences.

Passport 2 Adventure travel plan includes: Ghana, West Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Barbados  and France.

Scholarships provided in partnership with Community Youth Achievers

Students will discover the connection between Africa, Barbados and Charleston, South Carolina during the 2012 enrichment program and summer study tour.
